Vinnie Baite has announced his intentions of breaking Guinness World Record of chewing Miraa

Famous Comedian and former radio presenter Vinnie Baite has announced his intention to break a new Guinness World Record in the consumption of miraa.

Through his Facebook page, Baite wrote a humorous message stating that after observing various people attempting to set Guinness World Records in different activities, he has decided to focus on chewing miraa.

Baite mentioned that his goal is to set a record by continuously chewing miraa for 100 hours without stopping.

He requested his followers to support him by providing miraa and peanuts, as peanuts are commonly consumed alongside miraa.

"I will break the World Record for the longest period of chewing miraa. 100 hours of continuous chewing. To support my dream, send miraa and peanuts," Baite wrote.

However, some people dismissed the challenge, referring to Baite's previous interviews on the Iko Nini podcast where he expressed his dislike for miraa.

Baite hails from the Meru county, where the cultivation of miraa is a major economic activity.

Setting world records has been attempted by various individuals, including Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, who cooked for over 100 hours continuously and was eventually recognized by Guinness World Records in the long-duration cooking category.

Another woman from Cameroon also emerged, claiming her intention to<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4365274144513105"

Earlier this week, another individual came forward, aiming to break the world record for the longest period of crying without stopping.

This young man aimed to set a record of 100 hours of continuous crying.
