In the Patanisho segment on Thursday, Sammy Juma (24) from Bungoma sent a message seeking reconciliation with his wife Diana Nafula (20), who left suddenly and abandoned him a month ago.

Sammy said he had a falling out with his wife about three weeks ago due to his alcoholism and involvement in extramarital affairs.

"I went out, had a few drinks, and came back home as if I was drunk. My wife started acting a little hostile. So things got heated, I'm not sure if I hit her, I don't even remember. I woke up in the morning and she was gone," Sammy narrated.

He added, "When I tried to reach her on the phone, she had blocked me. It's like she went to her parents' place. I didn't follow up because I was afraid of being beaten. I was just waiting for her to come back home, and then I decided to come to Patanisho. Please help me."

When Diana was called, she immediately opened up about her partner's alcohol problem and how he had not been supporting her dream of becoming a broadcaster.

"It's not wrong to seek reconciliation, but can you imagine someone being an international-level alcoholic? He finished a degree in drinking, now only a master's is left! I wanted to be a broadcaster, but a person like him doesn't motivate you to reach your goals. Where are you taking someone like that?" Diana said.

She continued, "I decided to leave him, but I didn't give him any notice. I had to leave. If someone repeats their mistake and you tell them, but they don't listen!"

While defending himself, Sammy stated that he has already quit drinking and pleaded with his wife to accept him back home.

"I quit drinking a long time ago. I've been waiting for you for a long time. Even the cow I bought gave birth the other day. Please come and help me. I quit drinking," he said.

When Diana tried to ask for reassurance that he had quit drinking, Sammy was heard becoming furious and claimed to know his stance.

"I want you to tell me if you're not coming back so I can move on. Don't listen to such stories from Gidi, they don't know you. You come back home. I don't want too many excuses," he said.

Sammy, who sounded enraged, also turned to Gidi and Ghost and even threatened to cut off his phone if they didn't support him.

"If you don't reconcile us, I will cut off my phone. If you speak like that, she won't come back. I said I changed!" Sammy said angrily.

Diana made it clear that she was not pleased with how the co-parent spoke and complained that he didn't provide her with the motivation to return.

Following that, she made it clear that she will not return and told Sammy to move on with his life.

Sammy didn't oppose his wife's decision not to return, but as a result, he threatened to demolish the house he had built for her.

"Okay, it's fine. I just wanted to know your stance. I will even demolish the house I built for you and build another one. What is it doing? Let me build my own house next to it," Sammy said.

What advice would you give to these two?
